This place is in my top 5 favorite eateries in Houston Texas.
If you enjoy cloth napkins, posh soap in the ladies room, and old fashion "top draw" waiters, please allow me to recommend the  Daily Grill

if like me, you have to watch every single calorie that touches your lips, and or take metformin or insulin

Grilled Herb Chicken Breasts
Grilled Skinless Chicken Breasts, Seasoned
with Herbs, Served with Fresh Fruit
and Sliced Tomatoes  $15.75

Now for what I really ordered, 

Grilled Herb chicken breast
roasted or steamed vegetables (instead of fruit)
and I asked the waiter to NOT bring any bread to the table
we had coffee for dessert

To my utter pleasure and delight the vegatables where simply
AMAZING
roasted fennel, the savoriest mushrooms I have had in my entire life.
 The chicken was also good, but my mind still slides sideways to the fennel and mushrooms.
