I have outgrown Pandora radio

In 2009, I was a fan of Pandora Radio, I lived out in the woods and the local radio was difficult to receive clearly on a radio in the house. Plus, I was into making playlist and it was the first of voting a song as never to hear from again, application.

according to the Pandora Radio "about page"

About Our Name

The name Pandora means "all gifted" in Greek. In ancient Greek mythology, Pandora received many gifts from the gods, including the gift of music, from Apollo. She was also, as we all know, very curious. Unlike those gods of old, however, we celebrate that virtue and have made it our mission to reward the musically curious among us with a never-ending experience of music discovery.

It has been my experiences that the company motto has changed, a gift is free. Pandora Radio is no longer free.
The following is the way in which I pay for my Pandora Radio
By allowing Pandora Radio to use my paid for wifi service/iphone data plan to hock their commercials; I tolerate the following.
  • banner at the bottom of my screen
  • a page advertisement that floats over 75% of my viewing screen
  • Interrupted play for voice commercials
  • Interrupted music for mega bite eating video commercials

ALL PAID FOR BY ME

And now, Pandora Radio limits free listening to 40 hours a month, capped. I have moved from the woods, and live in the center of a large city. Also from 2009, the providers of music have become great playlist providers on their own. Here is San Antonio, their is a radio station for every one's personal taste, and when away from home, most of the local radio stations have an internet footprint. We also have paid service from TWC who also have many MC music playlist at the click of a remote. http://www.musicchoice.com/ which btw, never has a voice or video commercial, in fact, it is a part of my Christmas celebration Nov-Jan.
As this post on my blog is submitted, the iphone app, ipad app, and book mark on my lap top, all pandora radio, gone,

RIP, Pandora radio, it was fun while it lasted.
