I have outgrown Pandora radio

In 2009, I was a fan of Pandora Radio, I lived out in the woods and the local radio was difficult to receive clearly on a radio in the house. Plus, I was into making playlist and it was the first of voting a song as never to hear from again, application.

• a page advertisement that floats over 75% of my viewing screen
• Interrupted play for voice commercials
• Interrupted music for mega bite eating video commercials

And now, Pandora Radio limits free listening to 40 hours a month, capped. I have moved from the woods, and live in the center of a large city. Also from 2009, the providers of music have become great playlist providers on their own. Here is San Antonio, their is a radio station for every one's personal taste, and when away from home, most of the local radio stations have an internet footprint. We also have paid service from TWC who also have many MC music playlist at the click of a remote. http://www.musicchoice.com/ which btw, never has a voice or video commercial, in fact, it is a part of my Christmas celebration Nov-Jan.

My husband wears a standard pant/button up/tie combo daily for work. To keep his middle aged heart young he likes to wear conversation socks. He said "When I cross my legs, exposing my ankle, these socks make me smile" He reports weekly that he receives compliments on his socks. Plus, in the health care field it is nice to have a conversation starter to relax people into discussing "end of life care."

Bottom line: these socks are FUN

Bumble shampoo/conditioner review

With my purchase from "magnificent mile" Chicago' Sephora, a clear bag (zip lock bag) containing samples was in the bottom of my shopping bag.
I cleaned my hair that night in the hotel with the Bb thickening shampoo followed by the conditioner.

Shampoo description: 8 oz, $24.00 US

It makes fine hair look and feel fuller, moisturizes without weight, helps seal split ends and tames flyaways.

Who: Fine, thinning, limp, flyaway hair; anyone craving fullness (color compatible).

When: Daily; followed by Thickening Conditioner.

How: Wet hair, lather in palms, massage through and rinse thoroughly (no need to repeat)

Conditioner description: 8 oz, $25.00 US

It moisturizes without weight, protects, and contains a silk powder which adheres to hair strands and separates for fullness.
Who: Fine, thinning, limp, flyaway hair; anyone craving fullness (color compatible).

When: Daily; following Thickening Shampoo.

How: Comb or work through clean, wet hair and rinse thoroughly (leave in for a minute or two).

My experience: I am going to sum this up, hated it

Why: the shampoo matted my hair. Making my foot long hair a knotted mess making a two inch matted mess of hair pressed against my scalp

The conditioner applied to the rinsed matted mess of hair did nothing to loosen the matted mess.

End result: I rinsed all the Bb product from my hair and applied my "holy grail" conditioner and 30 seconds later with my conditioner and a wide tooth comb my hair was back to its foot long length.

Bb thickening combo was a fail for me

I own two tubes of this, one normal and the second one is waterproof (for the beach/gulf coast living)
I adore this mascara it is simply perfect for my lower lashes.

Uses:

1. mascara for your lower lash line
2. Use on the upper lashes as a second mascara to separate lashes after you have applied a thicker mascara 
3. Use first then apply normal water proof mascara. Maybelline Lash Discovery applies a thin layer to your lashes first to help remove water proof mascara

I naturally have pigmented lips so this doesn't deliver a lot of color, so for me it is basically an overpriced lip balm. I think if you have light lips it would be a nice lip color. the pay off is the same as the Revlon lip butter but the chubby stick does have more moisture, but then again it is almost 3x the price too. 

Jan 2013 product review

About ten years ago we purchased this LL Bean Leather sofa
and so far I am super impressed. It is durable, top notch leather, and can I just say, OMG, I cant get over how light weight this sofa is. It was designed by LL Bean just for apartment living and they really out did themselves on the light weight durability.  Of course, we don't have children and I will not allow anyone to sit on my sofa who is wearing jeans with metal brads that could puncture the leather.

jan 2013 hair spray

After switching from a low humidity desert feel of Wichita Falls, TX, I had to also switch my hair spray. I use to use the tresemme hairspray and have now switched to the L'oreal elnett spray.

Bonus, the hubs likes the way it smells and it allows me to go with second day hair with zero buildup
